Olaf
Olaf top is fine but he's lagging behind in the jungle. As such, we're improving his clear, making his ganking stronger and leaning into his identity as a risky, low health fighter. We hope to keep top lane in a fairly stable place while boosting his jungle performance.

E cast time now scales with Attack Speed.
Olaf E can feel slow at higher attack speeds with no AS scaling making you not feel good about using it and interrupting your AA flow.

Q bonus damage to monsters increased.
Olaf gained a lot of jungle power last patch but he still needs a bit more help before he's in a solid spot. Similar to Sylas, he feels a bit constrained within his main role, so we're focusing on increasing his jungle power. His first clear is already good, but his consecutive clears have room to be better since he should be one of the fastest in the game.

Q bonus monster damage added. W bonus attack speed duration increased and mana cost increased. E cooldown refund increased when hitting monsters.
Olaf is intended to be a solid jungler but has had a hard time lately, and similar to Sylas, he’s already strong in solo lanes. We’d like to give him better tools to succeed as a jungler by increasing his clear speed, as it should be one of the highest in the game since objective control is his primary strength as a jungler. While these changes will mostly help Olaf jungle they will still help him top some, so we're including an increase to his ultimate mana cost. We'll pay attention to how this lands and if it ends up restricting his mana pool by too much, we'll follow up to make sure he's still viable in top lane.

Passive attack speed reduced early. Q base damage decreased.
Olaf has been at the top of the top lane food chain for about 3-4 patches now with his win rate sitting at a stable 52-53% according to our data. His early Q damage gives him the ability to run down lane opponents who try to interact with the wave and win almost every trade due to the high base damage and cooldown refresh. This change is meant to lower early Q power. Olaf's passive also plays into this early game dominance, so we’re adjusting the attack speed portion at early levels to be less powerful.

Olaf’s mid-scope update helped him establish his place in the top lane, but he hasn’t been as powerful in the jungle. We’re giving him some additional buffs that should help strengthen his jungler roots.

Passive maximum Life Steal value threshold increased. Q damage increased, minimum recast time decreased. W cooldown increased late. R passive armor and MR decreased.
With the combination of the Durability Update and his mid-scope, Olaf was living up to his berserker fantasy a little too much, especially up in top lane. We're pulling back on some of his bonus stats and making him less tanky late game in exchange for more jungle clear efficiency to give jungle Olafs some needed help.

Despite Olaf’s popularity in Pro, he’s been one of the least mained champions in League for a while now. The flexibility of Ragnarok as an engage or escape and his fast clear speeds make him the ultimate example of a champ that walks the fine line between OP in Pro and “...meh” in all other levels of play. With this mid-scope update, we’re aiming to shift some of his power away from his clear speed and into tools that will help players feel stronger and in more control of Olaf’s survivability as he rides the edge of disaster at low health. These changes should not only help better define Olaf’s identity as a Berserker, but also allow him to take a new place as a viable top laner.

For an unstoppable Viking of destruction, Olaf has been pretty stalled in recent patches. We’re giving him more durability throughout the game and rounding up some numbers!
