Patch 15.3

W cooldown increased. E Attack Speed reduced.
Wukong has recently risen to become the king of the jungle. We’d like to open up a bit more space in the role, so we’re bringing down some of his more recent buffs that proved to be jungle-skewed in order to leave Top Wukong relatively unaffected.
Patch 14.22

Base Mana increased. W cooldown decreased at lower ranks.
Wukong isn't performing so well in top or jungle so we're buffing him. He most commonly maxes W last so its cooldown remains very high throughout most of the game, which we think is unnecessary. We're looking to improve his top trading and jungle navigation by lowering its early CD, along with a base mana buff to particularly help him cast more spells top.
Patch 14.16

Passive bonus armor increased. E bonus attack speed increased.
Wukong is one of the simpler champions in the game and not driving everyone in Pro play bananas, so he's got plenty of room for more power! We're specifically playing up his sustained combat and ability to withstand incoming physical damage to give him strengths beyond just one-shotting his opponents.
Patch 14.5

Passive maximum stack decreased, percent amplification per stack increased, stack falloff rate adjusted.
Wukong isn't performing quite as well as we'd like him to in the top lane, and his current state has him a bit too late game skewed, so we're making some changes to his passive this patch to make him a bit more powerful in the early game. As it is today, his passive regularly hits max stacks as a jungler when he's fighting camps, but struggles to get value against champions in lane. These changes should help him get more out of his passive in lane while also slightly helping his jungle performance.
Patch 14.3

Q bonus range increased. E cooldown decreased.
Wukong is in a weak spot at the moment, especially in the top lane, so we’re here to put a bit more pep in his step. To give him more space to play with, we’ll be increasing his early Q bonus range so that he can better trade with his opponents. We’re also including a buff to its bonus AD ratio because the armor shred Q gave lost value with the armor shard being removed last patch. Finally, we’re decreasing his E cooldown, as he’s very reliant on this spell and his build lost access to Ability Haste with the new item system.
Patch 13.16

Mana regeneration growth increased. Q mana cost decreased. W mana cost decreased.
Wukong has been a highly contested Pro jungler this season, but he hasn’t been performing well in solo queue. In order to put power back into his kit without much Pro play risk (he’s had low presence for the past two patches), we’ll be reducing the mana costs of his abilities to increase his trade frequency, which should help him in the top lane significantly more than jungle.
Patch 13.13

E damage to monsters modifier removed.
Wukong is relatively weak for most players, but still maintains a high presence in Pro, so we're going to be nerfing him in a way that will impact his performance at the highest skill level. We're aiming to reduce Wukong's jungle clear speed as this will be both jungle- and Pro-skewed while having minimal impact on his performance in Top Lane, which is already on the weaker side. To achieve this, we are removing the monster modifier on Nimbus Strike.
Patch 13.7

Base attack damage decreased. W cooldown adjusted. E bonus attack speed decreased.
Wukong jungle hasn’t been monkeying around in pro play and solo queue. In this patch, we’re looking to tone down his early game pressure by reducing his base damage and his clear speed that comes with his E. We’re also lowering the incentive to max W second, as it currently gives a lot (10 mana less, 2.5 seconds less) per point.
Patch 12.20

R AD ratio increased.
Right now Wukong's damage output is actually greater if he ends his ult before it times out which feels pretty bad. We're putting some more strength into his ultimate so that the Monkey King can spin to win for the full duration of his ultimate.
Patch 12.17

Base attack speed decreased. Base move speed decreased.
As opposed to the king of monkeys, Wukong has been the king of the jungle in Pro play for quite some time. We’re looking to dethrone him by bringing his early clear down a few pegs and reducing his ability to move around the map as effectively.
Patch 12.14

Base health regeneration increased. Passive health regeneration per stack decreased.
With the value of healing having gone up in the Durability Update, the value of Wukong's passive has gone up as well, especially in the later stages of the game. We're putting a stop to this monkey business by shifting his health regen from his passive to his base stats. This should result in his laning phase feeling roughly the same, but reduce his scaling regeneration a bit.
Patch 12.11

W cooldown increased early. E bonus damage to monsters decreased.
Wukong was already quite powerful before, and the durability update pushed him over the edge. We're looking to nerf his jungle role through clear speed and tap down top a bit as well through early mobility.
Patch 12.7

Q cooldown decreased. W cooldown decreased late; dash can now go through terrain. E AP ratio and damage against monsters increased.
Wukong hasn't been seen in Pro much despite having a theoretically good matchup into meta staples like Jayce and Graves. We're helping him claim his place in top lane while also reinvigorating jungle Wu so he can be a viable counter or flex pick.
Patch 11.15

Base health regen decreased.
Wukong’s able to stay healthy in lane, even after taking a beating. We’re lowering his sustain so that while he remains a strong duelist, he’ll need more time to lick his wounds.
Patch 11.12

Base damage growth decreased. Q damage ratio decreased.
Before the buffs to Divine Sunderer and Black Cleaver in patch 11.11, Wukong was already performing well. We knew the boost to his core items could tip him over the edge, but we weren’t sure exactly where he’d land—and now that we do, we’re hoping to directly offset the power that he gained.
