Leona has been a bit underwhelming for a while, so we are pulling back some of the previous Arena-specific changes that she has received in the past.

Leona is falling slightly behind her tanky support counterparts and we think some slight adjustments to her mana especially in early game should help. Additionally, we think her allies should feel that they have leeway using her passive on minions or champions, so we’re increasing its duration a tad.

Leona’s been shining bright for a while now, and while we’re glad she’s popular we’d like a bit more diversity in the Pro play tank champion pool. We like how much crowd control she has and we took down a bit of her damage last time so now it’s time for a little less durability to make her not quite the #1 tank pick.

Leona is performing well in Solo Queue and is the highest presence support in Pro so we’re nerfing her. We’d like to keep her durability intact but we’re reducing her kill threat due to how strong Sudden Impact and Bloodsong are on her.

Leona isn't the shining beam of light she once was and could use a bit more power. In order to get her glimmering again we're aiming to enhance her ability to all-in, as she has to commit harder to her engages than other similar supports and her engage capability is a primary reason for picking her. We're targeting her R damage and late-game W resistances specifically to give her more power in a way that doesn't affect her first few levels.

Leona is another champion who’s been struggling to find her place on the Rift, often being eclipsed by other engage supports. In order to promote some more diversity in the bot lane, we’re upping her durability and damage so she can shine just a little bit brighter.

Engage supports are currently a bit weaker than where we’d like them to be post-Durability Update. Now that enemies are more likely to survive her engages, we’re giving her a little more power in extended fights and when she can successfully land her skill shots.

Leona's been shining a bit too bright with her ability to soak up any damage that comes her way when she's locking down opponents. We're making her a little easier to kill so that opponents still have the opportunity to fight back. SPF still recommended.

Equipped with sword, shield, and sun, the Radiant Dawn has been burning too bright. We’re reeling in her damage to give her enemies some shade.
