Kog'Maw is one of the winningest bot laners in the game and has also lost his old identity as a scaler. We're delivering a targeted nerf toward his early trading in order to re-balance him and retain some of that scaling potential.

Kog'Maw normally sits at pretty high win rates due to being easy to play and always having room for counterplay. However, he's winning a little bit more than is fair right now, so we're delivering a small tap down. We're just taking away some damage that he shouldn't really miss, as we'd like to preserve his rapid-fire spitballs as best-in-class. That said, AP Kog is getting some compensation for this nerf as it's not very strong right now and could use the help.

Bot lane players have recently discovered the joys of E-max, AP Kog'Maw. While mid laners are used to high wave-clear mages (and have to think about assassins who can punish this behavior), bot lane isn't as capable dealing with this type of playstyle. This extreme safety leads to much less interactive gameplay than on-hit Kog'Maw, even if they win about the same number of games, so we're delivering a simple nerf to limit that build's strength.

Passive bonus movement speed increased. Q cast time adjusted. E slow increased. R damage increased.
Kog'Maw is a sad Void puppy who's very reliant on just his W. We're looking to reinforce that Kog'maw feels like his whole kit is useful and feels good for his primary playstyle. These changes include letting him weave Q into his pattern a bit more (this also might make Trinity a bit better which is a cool option for him, but not the goal here). We're also making E a spell worth casting, as currently a number of Kog'Maws (Kog'Mi?) don't even put points into E. Finally, we're making Kog'maw's passive a bit more reliable and buffing his R up in AD builds.

Kog'Maw has found a lot of success with a shiny new Mythic item that feels good for him to pick up. Due to that, we're walking back some buffs to his main damage ability without punishing his other spells' recent updates.

The Void Puppy is in a rough spot, being an immobile carry whose gameplay pattern revolves around one ability. Recently, we've focused a lot of attention on pulling/pushing the power in Bio-Arcane Barrage when changing Kog'Maw. We think Kog'Maw has more to offer than being a one-button pony, so we're buffing up his other abilities so that he's a bit more free to use his spells meaningfully before he focuses on solely auto-attacking late-game.

Our little Void puppy has started baring his fangs (oddly enough, they look a lot like Guinsoo's Rageblade). Given his knack for gnawing through his chew toys and enemies in longer team fights, we're head patting down his percent health damage and attack speed.

AD Kog is in a healthy spot now, but AP Kog has all but shriveled up. While our very hungry caterpillar should be weaker than other champions early in the game, he simply hasn't been a viable pick mid. We're buffing his waveclear to more reasonable levels to help him become the beautiful butterfly he really is.

Kog'Maw has been in a cocoon more than he’s been in the bot lane, so we’re giving him more ooze to get back in the groove. In addition, we're helping him burn through more enemies that dare stand in his way... or in his spit.

Once upon a time, when tanks and fighters only built armor Legendaries like Sunfire Cape and Randuin’s Omen, Kog’Maw was much more able to dissolve defenses and have lower cooldowns. To give him more of a payoff, we’re amping up the zip in his spit so that when the ability is up, he can charge! bugle noises
