Patch 16.8
Lillia
Our favorite bouncing deer has been a bit less than enthusiastic to prance from camp to camp as of late, it’s a scary jungle out there. We’re hoping to give Lillia players some more courage to bring her into the jungle by increasing her ability to have her high move speed translate into a faster clear.
Patch 16.5
Lillia
We overshot Lillia’s Q nerf and historically gave her power in places she’s less likely to appreciate, all of which has led to the speedy deer feeling limp. We are reverting her ultimate buffs from 25.19, which were fairly small, as well as Q nerfs from 26.02, which were much more impactful. The hope here is that this net buff lets her live out her sustained fight fantasy as we believe that weaving in and out of fights doing damage with Q is closer to that rather than needing to land large scale R's.
Patch 16.2
Lillia
Lillia has been in a dream since the changes to Rift. Unfortunately we need to wake her up as it’s become a nightmare for her opponents. We want her to maintain her spot as our premier in-and-out skirmisher in the jungle, but without her prancing out of control. We are looking to nerf her ability to stay topped up as well as bring down some of her late game damage.
Patch 15.19
Lillia
Lillia is a little weak and we’d like to see some AP junglers at Worlds, so she’s the perfect candidate for a buff this patch. By playing up her ultimate, we’re hoping she’ll succeed more in highly skilled and coordinated environments.
Patch 15.7
Lillia
E damage decreased.
We overshot Lillia's buffs last patch but we really like the new E cooldown, so we're undoing the AP ratio buff, since she doesn't need quite so much power.
Patch 15.6
Lillia
E cooldown decreased, scaling increased.
Lillia's a bit weak right now so she's due for some buffs to help her out. Swirlseed's cooldown is a little too punishing for how liberally we think she should be able to bowl it down a lane and look for a strike, so we're bringing it cooldown down and its damage up.
Patch 14.22
Lillia
Armor Growth decreased. Passive heal over time decreased.
Lillia is still prancing around as the queen of the jungle so we're taking another crack and setting her power level to a more appropriate level. We're lowering some of her guaranteed late game durability in an effort to make her appropriately killable.
Patch 14.18
Lillia
Passive monster damage cap decreased. R sleep duration decreased.
Lillia has quickly become the top jungler in Pro and is generally performing too well in most skill brackets of solo queue as well. As the jungle has become more hospitable to AP champions and items have become better for Lillia over time, we’re continuing to chip away at her inherent kit strengths. We’re once again reducing her clear speed since newer items provide a lot of benefits here while adding a pro-skewed nerf to her ultimate’s CC duration.
Patch 14.14
Lillia
Passive healing against successive champions reduced. E damage decreased.
Lillia is overperforming with her new favorite item, Runic Ashes and its resulting upgrades. Since we like what those items are doing for the game overall, we're taking out some power from Lillia directly. We're targeting her best-case scenarios where she's kiting and healing from an entire team at once, while trying to preserve her early clears and 1v1 dueling.
Patch 14.3
Lillia
Passive damage decreased. Q damage decreased.
Lillia’s preferred items became much nicer in the seasonal update, allowing her access to health on every slot and strong omnivamp that works well with her kit. We like that Lillia is generally tankier than before as it helps her stand out from other AP users, so we’ll be reducing her inevitable late-game damage while leaving her durability intact.
Patch 13.8
Lillia
Passive damage to monsters increased, healing against monsters increased, healing against champions adjusted.
In an effort to create more diversity in champion picks at the Mid-Season Invitational, we're buffing a few damage-reliant AP junglers in order to bring a different type of champion into pro play viability. There are a few interesting things going on with Lillia currently: She's got a pretty welcoming theme for newer players, but her jungle clear requires strong kiting in order to come out with enough health, so we’re amping her early jungle safety. On the pro play side of things, her clear speed is the most important lever. On top of those changes, we're taking the opportunity to ensure that AP items contribute more meaningfully to her in-combat healing, instead of it being generically available regardless of build.
Patch 12.23
Lillia
Q base damage decreased.
Changing Lillia from a ranged champion to a melee champion last patch greatly increased her synergy with Demonic Embrace, Conqueror’s, and Red Buff which resulted in her gaining a little more power than we expected. We’re pulling some of that power out in a way that should hurt her tankier builds a little more than her AP builds.
Patch 12.22
Lillia
Changed from ranged to melee. Base health decreased. Health growth increased. Passive healing vs champions increased.
Changing Lillia to a melee champion to be more intuitive with how she attacks. We expect this to be a slight nerf to her, so we’re preemptively buffing her passive.
Patch 12.15
Lillia
Passive damage cap against monsters increased.
Lillia’s been a bit weak in the jungle at all skill brackets. We’re giving her some jungle-oriented buffs that should help with her clear speed without her becoming a nightmare in the top lane.
Patch 12.11
Lillia
Base health decreased. Passive damage decreased.
Much like Brand and Kayn, Lillia's abilities that deal percent max health damage were indirectly buffed by the Durability Update. We're toning down the areas that benefited most to make her a little less of a nightmare this patch.
Patch 12.7
Lillia
Passive healing against champions increased. W base damage increased.
We're giving Lillia some more scaling sustain with her AP builds while also boosting her early jungle clear. These buffs should give her W damage a bit more oomph—or rather, eep!
Patch 12.3
Lillia
R sleep duration increased early.
We're making Lillia’s lullaby last a little longer so she can follow up with her spells and help her teammates more consistently at early levels. Sweet dreams~ ♪
Patch 11.18
Lillia
Base health regen decreased. Passive healing on large monsters increased. Q stack duration increased. E cooldown decreased.
Lillia's been very strong in top lane, limiting our ability to buff her jungling capabilities. Her early sustain will now be fairly conditional on hitting jungle monsters, making her a riskier pick in aggressive lanes and freeing up room for us to help her prance, dance, and—oops!—trip in the jungle.
Patch 11.14
Lillia
Base health regen decreased; armor increased. Passive damage increased and now heals. Q cost increased; max stacks decreased; bonus movement speed per stack decreased and lasts longer; cooldown now scales; base damage increased. W damage increased. E cooldown increased; slow is now flat; damage increased. R damage ratio increased; sleep duration decreased; slow decreased and no longer increases over the duration.
You know there’s a lot coming up when the summary line is a paragraph, so here’s the TL;DR—we’re buffing Lillia so that she’s less bashful when bonking down enemies in solo combat. How? We’re shifting some of her power out of her fast clear and coordination-dependent CC, which are often leveraged in higher levels of play into duel-focused strengths. This means that we’re bringing down her early game clear and movement speed, but helping her quickly recoup the losses once she gets her hooves on some AP and reaches mid-to-late game. With the addition of innate sustain, she’ll be able to stay healthy in extended fights and when she isn’t able to perfectly clear camps.
Patch 11.6
Lillia
R cooldown increased.
Since she entered the ring, Lillia has managed to prance her way out of any nerfs while still remaining a staple in professional play. With many of her competitors falling out of favor, it's time for her to get Eep!ed. Her ultimate has AoE fight-changing capabilities, so we're bumping up its cooldown to reflect its potency..
