Patch 16.3
Ezreal
Ezreal's been in a pretty weak spot for most players this season, especially after Essence Reaver got nerfed in the micropatch. While we think there's some winrate to be gained through players optimizing their builds, we still want to bring Ezreal more in line.

Ezreal has been a low performer lately especially at lower ranks. We're looking to add a little bit of general power to help him keep up as games go late.

Armor growth decreased.
Ezreal has been high presence and overperforming in general recently. He's pretty hard to catch and his builds often involve building decent amounts of HP or other defensive stats, making him both hard to lock down and take down. This patch we're lowering his scaling armor so HP purchases are less efficient on him and to make him more vulnerable over time.

Base AD decreased.
Ezreal has quickly become the most prominent bot lane pick in Pro, and as we’re gearing up for Worlds, we’d like to inject some more interest in that lane. We’re pulling back on the intentionally Pro-skewed buffs we gave him a while ago by pulling back his early attack damage, since he doesn’t need to be an early lane dominator.

Q damage decreased.
We’re walking back on our recent increase to Ezreal’s Q AD ratio while keeping the other buffs from that patch since he’s currently too strong of a pick in both Pro play and Solo Queue and will indirectly benefit from some of the other item nerfs in this patch.

AD growth increased. Q damage increased. R damage increased.
Ezreal's quite weak after 14.10's itemization changes. He's doing about 4% less damage per game than he used to, with all his other stats being roughly similar to before, so we're increasing his ability to put more damage out, especially in the late game.

Q damage decreased. R damage decreased.
In 14.2 we overshot on the buffs to Ezreal, however in this patch we’re buffing quite a few of his core items meaning we need to walk back some of the power he just got. Overall, these changes paired with the item buffs should still be a net buff compared to his power level in 14.1.

Base AD increased.
The current bot lane in pro play likely has a hyper carry on both sides of the Rift and hasn’t allowed for many non-hyper carries to compete. We want to give Ezreal a little more “OOMPH” in order to shake up the current bot lane situation, but also to make him better at playing into scaling marksmen at all levels of play.

E cooldown decreased.
Ezreal's lost his place in pro play and solo queue recently (maybe because of his distaste for maps), so we're shifting him into a stronger place by buffing his E to create more windows for clutch defensive or offensive plays.

Ezreal's been on the fringe of power in both solo queue and competitive play. We're giving him more access to his ult as the game goes on for those big high moments. Be careful where you recall...
