Elise
Elise is in a silly spot where ability power quickly fails to scale her damage against monsters after the mid game. We're delivering a change that will be a slight buff on average but is primarily meant to let her damage scale up with AP like it would for anyone else.

Passive bonus damage decreased.
Elise has been a beneficiary of the mage items changes, and has been very prominent especially in elite brackets. This change is targeted at softening her clear speed especially when snowballing, and lowering her over time PvP damage.

Q damage in both forms decreased.
Last patch's changes succeeded in bringing Elise jungle and support closer together in power, but we overshot the magnitude of our buffs. We're happy with her offensive power being more about sustained spider attacks, so we're going to pull some more burst spell damage out.

W (human form) damage decreased, W (spider form) cooldown decreased, bonus attack speed increased. R spiderling damage increased.
Elise jungle was quite weak at the start of the season, but recent buffs to Dark Harvest and Electrocute have brought her back to viability. However, Elise support has taken over as she's a bit too strong overall, so we're removing some of her support one-shot potential and buffing her sustained spider powers so that she still has a leg (8 legs) to stand on as a jungler.

Base health decreased.
Elise has been doing very well as of late, especially in higher skill brackets where her early dominance more reliably leads to game-ending leads. We think it's important to preserve her high burst assassination power, so we're reducing her early game by giving other players room to fight back and possibly fend her off or outright kill her.

Armor Growth decreased.
Elise has has quickly risen up the ranks as a top tier jungler, partially driven by magic damage being much more effective. We’re overall happy with her power to assassinate but she’s overall too resilient for how lethal she is.

Passive spiderlings now always regen when resummoned and jump on Q cast. Human E now reveals stealthed units and can now be redirected via flash. Spider E buff now applies on cast and can be recast to immediately drop back. R cooldown decreased.
We wanted to give Elise a bit of love with some small updates on spells that are easy to modernize. This included simplifying Rappel rules around the buff it provides, giving Elise an option to drop down early if she wishes to, and making Cocoon a more reliable play making spell at higher skill levels. R cooldown should really help her when trying to both roam in Spider form, transform to human to start a skirmish and then get back on her eight legs to keep fighting.
Patch 13.17

Passive bonus magic damage and healing on basic attacks increased. E stun duration increased.
Elise may be the Spider Queen, but she definitely isn’t the queen of the jungle at the moment. Her ability to clear is currently weaker than many other junglers, often taking longer and finishing with less health which in turn make her first gank (where she should excel) weaker than it should be. We're also looking to adjust her in later stages of the game so that she still has strong pick potential when her other strengths have fallen off.

Q base damage decreased. Spiderling base damage decreased.
Elise has been lethal recently, and between her clear speed and potent first blood threat, she’s becoming the queen of the jungle instead of the queen of spiders. We’re reducing some base damage on her Q to curb first blood potential and tapping down spiderling damage to slow her clear a tad so she isn’t head and thorax above the competition.

Human form Q range adjusted.
Elise's Q range is currently slightly shorter than her auto attack range which leads to an awkward half step when she Q-autos enemies. This range adjustment should make her combos feel much smoother and, even though the number went down, this should result in a slight range increase, especially against larger enemies.

Elise is still building her web, trying to find a spot on the Rift post-Durability Update. We’re adding some more damage to her Q to help her assassinate slightly more durable targets and buffing up her base stats to bring her in line with other junglers.

Elise keeps getting trampled underfoot by monsters and foes in the jungle, so we're boosting her carapace to help her survivability. (That's spider-speak for defense, by the way.)

Spider Form on-hit damage ratio decreased.
Elise has had no trouble catching prey across all levels of play for a while now. With patch 11.10’s jungle changes, she’s crawled up and over the line. We’re reinforcing her identity as an early game jungler by curbing her damage in later stages of the game.

Elise has crept to the top of the jungle echelons despite some previous nerfs (see 11.2). We're squashing her down a bit to even out the playing field.
