Brand jungle has been smothered as of late, so we're giving his clear speed some additional firepower to see if he can find his place again.

Brand is a little weak, especially in his more income-heavy roles. So we’re giving him a bit more power to let him run over games where he gets off to a good start by nuking his opposition.

The last nerfs to Brand’s ultimate smothered his flames a bit too much, so we’re giving him a bit more firepower. Additionally, now that Brand has some room for additional power we’re adding a spicier elite-skewed buff to his Sear’s stun duration, and giving him some power in the jungle to bring him back to viability there.

We buffed the damage cap per tick last patch but didn't quite see the win rate movement we were shooting for and brand jungle is still extremely weak. We are buffing the actual percent damage amplification per tick to monsters to help hit those now higher caps sooner.

Brand jungle has been suffering from some pretty heavy jungle nerfs last season. He barely sees play in the jungle anymore so we're looking to loosen up on some of those damage cap restrictions and return him to viability.

Brand is performing well in all of his roles, especially as a support where he comfortably skips a mana item despite not utilizing his passive restore. This shows that he doesn't care enough about mana and casts his spells too freely, so we’re targeting that freedom while also reducing some of his damage since he deals a ton of it in all of his roles.

E cooldown increased, damage decreased.
Despite recent nerfs, Brand's fire is still blazing hot; so we're back with another round of nerfs to dampen his flames. Conflagration is one of his most frustrating abilities, so we're going after it by lowering both its damage and reducing how frequently it's available to use.

Brand is performing well almost everywhere so we're taking back some power. We're mainly targeting mid and bot with these changes through his passive and rank-up incentives (mid and bot max E second) since support and jungle are at more reasonable power levels.

While we feel Brand's power level is appropriate in the jungle, he's far too dominant in mid and support in Platinum and below. As such, we'll be reducing his explosive burst damage, which is disproportionately more powerful in these skill brackets.

Brand is currently quite strong thanks to a combination of three things: his overly quick jungle clear speed, his natural synergies with Liandry’s, and champions having more health. This patch brings his passive damage in line with where we’d like it to be thanks to a bugfix, but he still needs more power taken out, so we’re nerfing his jungle clear and some early base damage.

We got Brand really close to our power level goals last patch and just want to nudge him over the line. We'd like to ignite Brand Mid and Jungle as his best roles while still retaining Support Brand as viable. So we're nudging up the ability he frequently gets to max in jungle and mid that support tends to leave at one skill point.

Level 1 attack speed increased, attack speed growth increased, base armor increased, armor growth decreased, base health decreased, health growth increased. Passive monster damage increased. E damage decreased.
Our goal with the changes this patch is to provide Brand with viable roles other than just support. Through a mix of stat adjustments and passive tuning we're giving Brand jungle the ability to reliably clear the jungle (plus some extra armor and attack speed to help players). Make sure to take Q at level 1 to make your clear as painless as possible. Meanwhile, Brand mid should enjoy a significant increase in attack speed, which should help with last hitting minions and whittling down turrets any time he gets lane priority. We expect these changes to power up his support play as well, so we're just delivering a love tap to one of his abilities with the goal that all three roles can be viable and fun to play. Also, Brand jungle players: Please take Q at level 1. It has the highest base damage and the lowest cooldown. Q at level 1. You don't even have to max it. Q. at. level. 1.

Passive mana restoration increased. Q AP scaling increased. E AP scaling increased.
Contrary to popular belief, Brand has not been on fire in solo queue, especially in the mid lane. While many players opt to play Brand as a support, we also want to make sure he’s still a viable mid-lane option. To that end, we’ll be increasing the mana restoration on his passive to help him better sustain his mana pools in mid. We’ll also be increasing the AP ratios on his Q and E to better bring out Brand’s primary strength of dealing damage, while not increasing the reasonable amount of damage his W and R already do.

Brand has been on fire since the Durability Update given that everyone having more HP increases the value of his abilities. We're partially extinguishing his ability to burn his enemies with percent max health damage.
